The City of San Diego Public Library offers services to persons with disabilities through the I Can! Center in the Central Library located at 820 E St., San Diego.  There is a collection of large print books, talking book machines, and TTY/TDD reference service among other services.  Each branch is listed with the services/technologies they provide.  I found the City's web site easy to navigate and the information easy to find.

  1. Hi, DeAnn~ isn't it interesting how libraries are in the forefront (well, except for Harvard!) or at least are all conscious of the need to not only have this stuff but make it known to whoever uses the library or sees it as a source of info. See you tonight!

  2. Thank you for sharing the link! It's amazing how much information they provide regarding their assistive technology. It's good to know they have an entire center dedicated to services for persons with disabilities.

  3. The Link that you shared is awesome. I think it's cool that they have a lot of information on assistive technology they offer. It was easy to find. I wish more libraries had information about how they promote their assistive/adapted technology.
